For the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards U2 opened the show with an emotionally charged performance of Get Out Of Your Own Way from a barge in the middle of the Hudson River.

Clad in LED the barge provided a canvas for a series of photographs depicting the eyes of American immigrants by artist JR with Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty visible in the background.
