The Liminal films are the product of a creative relationship with Sigur Rós going back almost a decade.

While the band’s live shows are intense, powerful experiences with distinct looks and atmospheres for different songs, the Liminal project is closer to a DJ set and so needed a looser, more subtle approach.

The accompanying films are long-form, continuous pieces allowing room for improvisation and accompanying the experience without breaking the deep, often meditative mood.
